Matthew Fitzgerald is a New York City-based actor, born in Connecticut, and raised primarily in Columbus, Ohio. He holds a Master of Fine Arts degree in Acting from The Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University.

Prior to attending The Actors Studio Drama School, Matthew studied at the Chicago Actors Studio. Full-length credits at ASDS include: Harvey in Beached, Wilson in Bobrauschenbergamerica, Professor in The Lesson, Luka in The Bear and Dave in Just One Night. Matthew also worked as a productions intern at The Barrow Group leading up to their acclaimed production of Expecting Isabel.

Matthew holds BA degrees from Miami University (Ohio) in Journalism and Political Science. At Miami, he sang in the Men’s Glee Club and on The Remnants a cappella group’s album From the Attic. Before transitioning to acting, he was a professional sportswriter for Bleacher Report and Turner Sports for over four years.
