Eli Gottsegen |
Eli is a soon to be graduate of Northwestern University, where he
pursued his Theatre major, Music Theatre Certificate and a slew of English,
psychology and history classes. Over his college career, Eli grew into the
artist and performer he is today, developing as a songwriter and actor. Eli
has been lucky enough to perform in a variety of musicals and workshops.
Eli has always enjoyed creating new work alongside peers and colleagues.
Eli has been particularly drawn to pieces which explore specific historical
time periods, including his recent role in Shimmer, a musical in development
by Anthony Davis, Michael Korie and Sarah Schulman. Eli is a technical musician,
dedicated bandmate, and has thrived as part of numerous ensembles, including
THUNK A Cappella. Eli relished the opportunity to conduct research over a
summer at Northwestern by beginning development of a musical of his own.
Eli loves to play sports, spend time with friends, and will always cherish
his time working with kids as a sleep-away camp counselor for many summers. 8/24 |
