Morgan Mastrangelo is an opera and musical theatre tenor from Ridgewood, NJ. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Opera Performance with a certificate in musical theatre from Northwestern University, where he studied with Pamela Hinchman. At Northwestern, Morgan sang leading operatic and musical theatre roles both and off the Northwestern stage. He most recently made his role debut as Don Ramiro in Rossini’s La Cenerentola at the Al Ringling Theatre in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Pre-COVID, Morgan debuted as Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi) and Basilio (Le Nozze di Figaro) both as a part of the Montefeltro Festival in Novafeltria, Italy.
Morgan is a Metropolitan Opera National Council Encouragement Award winner, as well as the First Prize Winner of the 2021 Hal Leonard Musical Theatre Competition. He is currently based in Manhattan, and sings with the choir of the Church of the Holy Trinity, 88th St.
