Moeisha McGill is a
dynamic performer singer and actress fresh off the stage as Felicia Farrell
in The Gateway Playhouses’ David Ruttura directed (School of Rock) Memphis
the Musical. She garnered rave reviews as the feisty and ambitious aspiring
singer and received thunderous applause in her show stopping performance
of “colored Woman”. She has been seen on Broadway in Mamma Mia!, RENT and
Motown the Musical where she portrayed Martha Reeves and Gladys Night to
name a few. A New York city native she attended the Professional Performing
Arts School and graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Notable appearances include lizzie in Baby at the Papermill Playhouse and
Joanne in RENT at The Gateway Playhouse. She made her her small screen debut
as a nightclub singer on Public Morals (TNT 2015) Directed by Edward Burns.
She can be seen most recently in The Godfather Of Harlem on EPIX. Moeisha
is a tour de force known for soaring through powerhouse moment |
