Ron Siebert is a proud member of long standing of all three professional
acting unions. He has worked in more than 60 theatres across America
from Broadway to Boca Raton, from Sarasota to Sacramento playing a wide variety
of roles. He is an extremely versatile and talented actor. On Broadway,
he appeared in the award-winning THE CHANGING ROOM and in THE ICEMAN COMETH
with James Earl Jones. In regional theatre across America he has played a
wide variety of roles among them are: Henry in THE REAL THING, Cassius
in JULIUS CAESAR, Alceste in THE MISANTHROPE, Michael in DANCING AT LUGHNASA,
Hildy Johnson in THE FRONT PAGE, King Lear in KING LEAR, Friar Laurence in
ROMEO AND JULIET, Nunzio in OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS, Morrie Schwartz
in TUESDAYS WITH MORRIE, Scrooge in THE CHRISTMAS CAROL, C.K. Dexter Haven
in THE PHILADEPHIA STORY, Jerome Watkins in HENCEFORWARD, and Proteus in
TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA. In addition to his theatre work he appeared
on most of the daytime dramas broadcast from New York City including One Life
To Live, All My Children, Guiding Light, Ryan's Hope, Loving and Another World.
He also was in many commercials and industrial films as well as appearing
in dramas broadcast on P.B.S. Further, Ron has had extensive
teaching experience working as a coach for the Pittsburgh Public Theatre's
annual Shakespeare contest since it's inception in 1995 and taught for 17
years in the prestigious Carnegie Mellon School of Drama pre-college program.
Among the people he has worked with and/or coached are Ann Hathaway, Gillian
Jacobs of the T.V. show COMMUNITY, Megan Hilty who was on the TV show SMASH,
James Earl Jones, Christine Baranski of the T.V. show, THE GOOD WIFE,
John Lithgow, and Mike Nichols. Ron brings a long and successful career's
worth of experience to his teaching and has a Bachelor's degree from the
University of Wisconsin and a M.F.A. degree from Brandeis University
