<>Soprano Lynne Abeles was most recently praised by the
New York Times for her "standout" performance as Sophie in the New
York premiere of Emmeline with DiCapo Opera Theatre. Other
roles include
June (Gypsy), The Baker's Wife (Into the Woods), Frenchy (Grease)
with the PC Players in Ft. Lauderdale in Florida, as well as a reading
of The
Man in the Iron Mask with Emerging Artists Theater in NYC.
She has
also performed the roles Yum Yum (The Mikado), Musetta (La
Boheme),
Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), and Giannetta (The Elixir of Love)
with various opera companies across the country. Lynne received
her
training in theatre and music at both the University of Miami and the
University of Southern California.
