E. Mani Cadet, “Mani” is a seasoned vocal artist and performer, having achieved great acclaim in opera, musical theater and also as a concert entertainer able to showcase varied genres including art song, Spirituals, Gospel, Pop, and Jazz. Mani has performed roles on such world-renowned stages such as the Lyric Opera of Chicago, New York City Opera, Florida Grand Opera, Des Moines Metro Opera, Connecticut Opera, Martinique Opera, Bergenz Opera, Shreveport Opera, The Music Theatre of Wichita, The Cotton Club, and Radio City Music Hall. E. Mani Cadet is currently a cast member of the Strasburg, PA Sight and Sound Theater in their current Production of In the Beginning. In addition to singing and performing professionally, Mani is a respected and sought after voice teacher and vocal coach. Mani was born in Miami, Florida, where he lived most of his pre-collegiate years. Between the ages of two and six, his family resided in Jean-Rebel, Haiti. There he simmered in the rich tradition of his family’s Haitian culture, igniting his passion for music and drama. As a musically active teen in church and later as a high school student at New World School of the Arts in Miami, Mani was encouraged to further develop both his natural vocal talent and ease on stage. Mani moved to New York City after acquiring his further education and continued with his professional career. He currently resides in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. 09/02/08 |
