Julianne
Chester was born and raised in Long Island, New York.
Ms. Chester received her training at Westminster College of The Arts,
where she
earned her BM in Music Education with a concentration in voice. Since
December
2008, Julianne has been a lead singer/dancer in the production shows
onboard
Royal Caribbean's world class cruise vessels. Here, she has had the
fortune to
work alongside some incredibly talented performers whilst traveling the
world.
Ms. Chester is a classically trained vocalist whose stylistic
versatility
encompasses musical theater, jazz, blues, pop, pop-rock and country
genres. In
2007 she world premiered For Lost Words, a 'jazz-rock
fusion
electronic sonic symphony' by Vince DiMura, as a featured solo
vocalist at
the Passage Theater in Trenton.
Ms. Chester's vocal talents have been heard on radio and television
commercials
and have also been used for electronic learning toys for children. In
2006 she
toured as the principal female and vocal coach with the National tour
of Club
KidzBop Live!. Julianne has performed at Lincoln Center
at Avery Fisher Hall in 2004 with the Dresden Philharmonic and in 2006
with the
NY Philharmonic, singing with the Westminster Symphonic Choir.
Her
favorite theater credits include Queenie in Lippa's The Wild Party,
Erma in
Anything Goes, Hair and The Vagina Monologues.
