Keith Dworkin

Keith Dworkin, singer/songwriter/pianist/music director/actor/conductor/orchestrator, has been hailed as "crazy talented."  Since age four, he has wowed audiences large and small with his musical and theatrical wizardry.

As music director, pianist, conductor and orchestrator, he has helped realize dozens of musical theatre visions on both university and professional stages.  Working alongside names such as Michael Greif, Lauren Kennedy, Andrew Lippa, David H. Bell, Oskar Eustis, Brian D'Arcy James, Steven Oremus and others, his artistic integrity and genuine enthusiasm make him an ideal collaborator.

As singer/songwriter, Dworkin bridges the contemporary musical theatre and popular songwriting worlds with tremendous deftness.  Having studied with behemoths like Craig Carnelia, Amanda McBroom, Lori White and Andrew Lippa, his comedic sensibilities, sharp wit and emotional depth are unmistakable.

Such passion and open-spiritedness are evident in his work as an actor, as well.  Under directors like Gary Griffin, Dominic Missimi and Amanda Dehnert, he has portrayed roles ranging from rapper to rabbi.

A native of NJ, Dworkin received his B.M. from Northwestern University and currently resides in the suburbs of Chicago with his even better half, Laura.
