Jennifer
Piacenti is an extremely versatile
singer/dancer/actress living in New York City. A true “triple
threat,” Jennifer
studied for 11 years in an RAD qualified dance program, then went on to
earn
her Masters Degree in Voice from Texas Christian University. Her
loves
include both opera and musical theatre, and she has been fortunate
enough to
work in both. Favorite roles include Yum Yum in The Mikado,
Fiona
in Brigadoon, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, and Vera in
the Female
Odd Couple. Jennifer has appeared with the New York Gilbert
and
Sullivan Players (City Center), Houston Grand Opera
(Wortham Center),
and was part of the cast for Hal Prince's
Candide at New York City Opera (Lincoln Center) last
April. Most recently, Jennifer performed the role of Cunegonde
for New
York City Opera's Family Series at Lincoln Center
and the lead role in A Fireside Christmas
at the Fireside Theatre. Jennifer has
also been performing regularly with internationally recognized tribute
show Legends in Concert as a backup singer/dancer
for such acts as Madonna, Michael Jackson, Gwen Stefani, Tom Jones, and
Elvis.
