Emily Cara Portune

Emily is a professional actress, singer and dancer who lives for the stage. Growing up with a lovely mother who runs a children's theater company, Ms. Portune was thrust in front of the curtain at the ripe age of three, shaking her bells behind Peter Pan as Tink. It was love at first...flight! She then went on to perform over 65 different plays and musicals, both regionally and educationally in addition to attending The Shenandoah Conservatory of Music as a BFA of Music Theatre student. She was last seen rocking the stages of America as Janis Joplin in the National Tour of Beehive: The 60's Musical. Some of her other favorite roles include, but are not limited to, Ulla (The Producers), Shelley (Bat Boy), Amneris (Aida), Lois Lane/Bianca (Kiss Me Kate), Lola (Damn Yankees), Betty Blake (The Will Rogers Follies), Beggar Woman (Sweeney Todd), Woman 1 (And The World Goes 'Round), Rusty (Footloose), Brensa (Smokey Joes Cafe) and Hodel (Fiddler on the Roof). Emily is truly an artist. She expresses her individuality not only under the lights, but through writing, painting, and many other undiscovered talents. She currently resides in the Garden State, where her Jersey girl heart has always been!
