Countertenor Tyler Wayne Smith debuted on Broadway as Mary Sunshine in Chicago, the Musical after a stint on the National Tour, reviewed as “amazing” and “pitched-perfect.” On the operatic stage, Mr. Smith has performed the roles of the Witch (Hansel and Gretel), Tolomeo and Sesto (Giulio Cesare), Goffredo (Rinaldo), the Sorceress (Dido and Aeneas), and Orfeo (Orfeo ed Euridice). Winner of prizes from Opera Singers Initiative and the Rochester Oratorio Society, Mr. Smith is scheduled to make his NY recital debut at Symphony Space in April.
