Lyric Tenor Dave Anthony Vogel is
currently performing Mary Sunshine on the National Tour of Chicago,
and will soon transfer to the Broadway production.
Dave was recently on the national tour of Click,
Clack, Moo with TheatreworksUSA,
playing the role of Loretta. Regional/NYC
credits include Stuart Dalrymple in Brigadoon
(Barnstormers Theatre), Octavian in Cleopatra:
A Life Unparallel (MITF), Auletes in Cleopatra:
Her True Story (PCTF; nominated for Best Featured Actor), and Marco
Palmieri in The Gondoliers (Crystal
Opera Consortium). This past May, Dave
graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from The Boston Conservatory. His Conservatory credits included Homer
Collins in Floyd Collins, Larry in Closer,
Ferrando in Mozart’s Cosi Fan Tutte, Boris in The Quick-Change Room (Boston Premiere),
The Padre in Man of La Mancha, Celia
in a gender reversal of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Iolanthe,
Hot Blades Harry in Urinetown,
the Musical, and the leading role of RJ in All Lost to
Prayers (World Premiere; Composer Dana Brayton’s final
chamber opera.) In concert, Dave sang
the title role in Candide with the
Boston Pops at Symphony Hall under the direction of Keith Lockhart in
An
