Robert R Yonskie
is a recent graduate of The Hartt School, PTTP, University of Hartford
where he received a double BFA in Music Theatre and English Literature.
While
there he was seen in such as roles as Roy
Cohn in “Angels in America”,
Gov. Slaton in “Parade”, the Specialist in “The Who’s Tommy” and many
other
productions. Robert was
also
seen in the new works “Mariel” and “The Devil You Know”, where Robert worked closely with Stephen Root. Robert
recently appeared at Goodspeed Musicals in the Festival of New Artists
in
“Factory Girls” and as a featured soloist in the New Artists Cabaret
where he
worked alongside Jeff Blumenkrantz and Michael O’Flaherty. Robert is making his NYC and Off-Broadway
debut in
“Christmas Rappings” in
December,
2009. Robert was also
given
the opportunity to sing Bernardo in the West Side Story suite under the
direction of Maestro Edward Cummings of the Hartford Symphony
Orchestra.
In addition to his work as an actor Robert
is Co-Founder and Board Member of The Caitlin M Hammaren Memorial
Foundation
for the Arts, a foundation started for his late friend Caitlin who was
killed
in Virginia Tech.
